Monmouth's Sustainability Scholarship is a new program offered for incoming students interested in alternative agriculture, sustainability and environmental issues. Both first-time freshmen and transfer students are eligible. A total of 10 scholarships will be awarded of up to $2,500 per year. The scholarships are renewable for four years.
Requirements
- The student must be accepted for admission with all required scholarship information submitted by January 13, 2012.
- The student must have a GPA of at least 3.0.
- The student must submit an essay on why he/she would like to be considered for this scholarship.
- The student must be able to demonstrate his/her interest in sustainability, agriculture or environmental concerns through some type of experience or writing.
- The student must attend an on-campus interview with Monmouth Garden House students and faculty on either Saturday, February 4, 2012, or Saturday February 18, 2012.
