Scots Leadership Award (formerly Midwest Leaders Award)

The Scots Leadership Award is for incoming first-time freshmen students. The scholarship recognizes students who have been active in their schools and communities with the intention of becoming future campus leaders. Five $2,500 scholarships will be awarded and are renewable for up to three years based on academic standing.

ELIGIBILITY:

Entry into the Scots Leadership Award competition is by invitation only. Admission Representatives make these nominations on behalf of the student. All students submitting a complete application for admission by January 3, 2013 will be considered for the Scots Leadership Award. A complete application includes the application for admission, an official high school transcript and official test scores.

The Admission Committee will select 50 students to compete for this award based upon a student’s academic credentials and involvement and leadership both inside and outside of the classroom. Interested students are encouraged to meet with their Admission Representative prior to the deadline to discuss their qualifications.
