Monmouth / Academics / Faculty Profile

Janis Wunderlich

Academic Biography:
I love making and teaching art that is tactile and process-oriented in nature. I get to use tools and raw materials, combined with natural elements to create expressive works of art. The field of Ceramics attracted me because there are so many varied materials, aesthetics, and applications, I will always be exploring and learning. Don't be jealous :) Come join me.

The favorable faculty-to-student ratio at Monmouth College allows me to truly individualize classroom instruction, and to assist each student in creating meaningful and well-crafted works of art.

Before coming to Monmouth College, I spent many years balancing a dynamic studio ceramic career with university teaching and raising my children.
