After completing my thesis titled "Consuming the Composition Classroom: A Consumer Imageword Praxis—From is to as if Logics," which focuses on the ways that students use image logics to make meaning and navigate a world that is becoming increasingly iconographic, I have focused my research in the areas surrounding the Web 2.0 revolution, social media, and the impact these technologies have on student writing. Currently I am also researching the transference of rhetoric and composition pedagogies to library services. I currently teach part time while also serving as an assistant director and librarian at a small, rural, library district.
