Clinical Laboratory Sciences Overview
Monmouth College has an affiliated program with Rush University in Clinical Laboratory Sciences (formerly known as Medical Technology). Students complete their pre-clinical work at Monmouth, typically in 3 years, and then finish their education with two years of clinical work at Rush University. These students earn a BA from Monmouth and a BS from Rush. Students may also complete 4 years at Monmouth and then complete the Masters program at Rush. Course requirements
The basic science requirements and general education requirements must be fulfilled at Monmouth College to earn the Monmouth degree. The following courses are required to qualify for the Rush Clinical Laboratory Sciences Program and must be completed with a grade of C or better. A minimum of 60 semester hours must be completed prior to enrolling at Rush. Required courses can be found in the four year plan link on the left side of this page.
